Dear Andy.
It was good to see you on Friday and many thanks for your time and straightforward common sense. As you probably gauged, there is always a
thirst for better knowledge and most of us could have carried on what was a most useful session for a lot longer. It is enormously frustrating
when we (in both the public and private sector) know we have good products and good practices that will lead to safer communities but where
poor take up, lack of standards and patchy implementation mean the community gets short changed, money is wasted and victims suffer
unnecessarily. The whole ethos of Secured by Design is to promote safe secure communities as part of a more sustainable environment and good
liaison with committed companies like CCTV in Focus contribute greatly to that end. Thanks again for your support and for taking the time to
deal so frankly with the range of diverse queries the group raised. Everyone found it most useful and wished to forward their appreciation.
